Sandy and I thank you for your support. Where do our funds go?First off, it costs us $250 per episode whether we have funds to produce a show or not. We usually produce 1 or 2 shows per week. We could do a new show every day, if we had the funds to do so. There are a great many musicians who want to be on our show that we have to turn down. Why? Simply because we can't afford to produce more than 2 shows per week. YOU can help change all of that!
We also receive requests, from all over the world, to attend and record concerts and recitals. We are unable to do this, because we just don't have the funds to honor these requests (we receive about 40-50 requests per month). We accept NO government funds from grants or other government sources. CMD is 100% self-sustaining through sponsors, advertisers and through kind contributions from our listeners. We are VERY serious about what we do and we hope you can help support our continuing mission to bring classical music to the world free of charge to all of our listeners.
